Summary
The Wonderling takes us to another world where creatures that are part animal and part human survive on the edge of society. Number 13 is a young fox mix who has been sent to an orphanage for forgotten and unwanted animals. Number 13 has no memory of where he came from and why he doesn’t even have a proper name. When a new groundling is brought in, Number 13 makes his first friend and she gives him a name, Arthur. They both desperately wants to escape the dreadful environment of the orphanage. Arthur and his new friend, Trinket, plan a way to break out from the orphanage. Once Arthur and Trinket are free from the orphanage, Arthur must learn how to survive in a world that he knows nothing about.
