this learning activity, students will be tasked to draw their version of what a
‘hero’ is. After the class has completed their drawings, students will present
their images to the class and explain why they chose their hero.

Goal:
Students
will be able to understand that acts of heroism can come from those not
typically written about or seen in literature or films.

to the rest of the class.
